Oww.. Long delayed overdue post!!! Finally get to post updates about bouldering!!
I am not trying to post any bouldering or climbing trip which I have been recently. Nor posting any familar climbing routes/ moves or sceneries. This post is about Instrumented Climbing Wall!! And what is it all about? Read here to find out more.
To make the situation clearer, I am an undergraduate final year student at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Such wall is first of the kind and I am so excited as I will be part of the research team to conduct climbing experiments on the Instrumented Climbing Wall.
Outline of the research
Project Title: Sports Engineering: Dynamics of Sport Climbing
Project Summary: The project will make use of the instrumented climbing wall at the Biomechanics lab. The experiments involving dyno movements and advanced climbing moves emphasizing on heel hooks, toe hooks and lay backs. The project is destined to be presented at the ISEA2008 conference in Biarritz in France
Supervisor: A/P Fuss Franz Konstantin
I am only less than a week old in this research. And this research will last for a year. Meaning a year long of findings all about climbing. So excited! Wish me Luck!http://bouldering-guide.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/full
