Has the point system changed?

I just noticed that I get 10 points for uploading a pic; has this changed, I seem to remember they were worth 1 point when I joined the site. Or maybe I ...uuummmmm... inhaled too much when I was younger.

I noticed as of last month some kind of change. Each comment doesn't show yer' point, but the photos do. So maybe only photos or whole blogs get points? Just messin' with a smart remark gets none? I dunno.
