Hey, everyone. Quick question for you: Do you Twitter?
If that made no sense, Twitter is an amazingly cool website or a complete and utter waste of time -- depending on your point of view. The idea is that if you "Twitter," you use the site to post really short announcements on the web of what you're doing.
You can Twitter from your computer, or from your cell phone. For example, you just spotted Dean Potter climbing a public sculpture and getting arrested, so you post a sentence to Twitter saying that you witnessed that. Some folks Twitter through the day, leaving a public log of their activities.
OK, so I ask because we're noodling on the idea of using Twitter to set up a feature on YourClimbing.com where you could Twitter your climbing news and activities.
For example, maybe Badash has just sent her first 5.12a and she immediately posts a Twitter text message using her cell phone to YourClimbing.com. Maybe we can convince Katie to Twitter, and she reports on her first success at splitting wood. ... You get the idea. This could be, ummm, interesting.
So what do you think. Is this something you'd want us to experiment with? Or is it just too lame and bizarre?
