It's day four of the show and everyone is walking around looking like a zombie. Drunken debauchery seems to be the name of the game here at OR. Crowds are thinning out and the booths will start packing up in a few hours.
Yesterday was the outdoor climbing comp, facing west, on top of a parking garage, at five pm, in 100 degree weather. Needless to say, competitors were less than psyched and spectators stood around while their shoes melted to the pavement. In the end however, Chris Sharma managed to win, finishing three of the four problems after coming into finals in fourth. As for the women, Alex Johnson took first, with Alex Puccio a close second.
The after-party was an apparent success, complete with an open bar and cage dancers. As for me, well, I went back to the hotel to take a "nap" before heading out and...never woke up until nine o'clock this morning. No after-party for me. And no hangover.
Yay for me!

The trade show sounds fun. I'm jealous. I've always wanted to be a cage dancer. Maybe next year.
