We just got back from celebrating Kayleigh's second place and Ben's newest first place finish at The Rock. Vegas did well too. Looking forward to seeing some of you all at some ABS comps this winter. Nationals are in Boulder this year and it will be really fun.

I originally wasn't going to do it until Brian convinced me to do it. The last gym comp I entered wasn't all that exciting, so I thought this one would be the same. Not so. There was a good mix of kids and adults, all cranking hard and cheering each other on. I also like the format. Having to do at least two boulder problems and two routes made it interesting. You couldn't just hang out in the bouldering cave or do routes all day. And with bonus points for flashes and leading climbs, you really had to plan out each climb. I really had a lot of fun, the score was secondary. I think the next comp is the first weekend in December. You should all come out. Great energy and lots of fun if the usual suspects are there.....
