OK, I did it. In the dark only, at home, on the wall. Remember, I'm 200 miles from the nearest boulder or rock climb area so this will have to do. But this specacular one of a kind fashion will now be packed away in a nice white wedding box, waiting for Ash' or even Bex to come on down' and do come local climbing here. And it only took a few bottles of beer to do this outside. Funny how the spagetti sauce chunks hardened up and kept falling off as I was climbing.

climbingtrash says:
Oh dear lord! You are the MAN WC! That is Hilarious! (my eyes are watering from laughing so hard)

woodchuck07 says:
My 'nards shrank so much from doing this. So glad the neighbors don't look out the back door much after dark. Kept it to only one flashlight, and the flash on camera.
gonzobeer says:
Jesus Christ!!! You're still wearing that dress aren't you Woody?
Licentia Haud Vestigium
Bex says:
Man I F'n Love It. Ok I just looked at that at work and I can't stop laughing. That so made my Day and ya I will have to give the dress a try. That definatlrey brightened my day.
woodchuck07 says:
I suffer this indignity just to make you smile, Bex. Whatever...
HEY GB, whatdya' mean I'm still wearing it? They wouldnt let me in the liquor store in it. Told me to go back to the reception for more free booze, or they would report a 'runaway bride' on the loose.
Bex says:
Oh Woody I just looked at the pic again when on with an irrate cusotmer. It stopped me from crying..but made me tear up laughing. Your the Bestest.
woodchuck07 says:
And next you know, it will be your screen desktop. You know, someone should show this to Sputz, and remind him at his young age...'these are the kind of people you don't want to meet on the internet'.
Bex says:
Yes we should. No the Barbies are still my desktop. I would never put Bridezilla up I would spare you the idignity, even though it is on the Internet.
woodchuck07 says:
oh yes, the climbing team Barbie shot is so much more fitting.
Bex says:
I had the as my desktop on my laptop at home to and my mom was like wtf, but she thought it was cute.
woodchuck07 says:
It's fun how we are on line in the early hours, when Spudz & 'Ash are stuck in school and can't get online to make comments about stuff. Then they get home to find they are about 10 replies behind on everything.
Hey, can somebody with computer skills, photoshop Ash's head on the wedding dress photo and repost? I have no such talents. GB? CT? Anyone?
Bex says:
I can do It. But I don't have photoshop, I can see if I can get my hands on it.
gonzobeer says:
Trash is pretty good at that kinda stuff, just look at what he did with my head in my guestbook.
Licentia Haud Vestigium
Bex says:
Yes he is he is far better than me with Photoshop.
climbingtrash says:
I shall answer the call...but it'll have to be in the morning. I'm beat!

woodchuck07 says:
great. Find a superb facial shot of Ash', and then do your magic with the dress shot. An over the shoulder look, added to the climbing one could be fun.!
climbingtrash says:
Here you go WC, it took me a couple of days to find the time but I always deliver...
TA-DA!
woodchuck07 says:
that's bitchin'!!! Somebody be sure Ash' gets to see this tonight! the perfect choice look in her face, and the arms say it all!
climbingtrash says:
Had to give her the proper guns or it would have looked faked. :)

woodchuck07 says:
you got that right....hope she gets 'ungrounded' from this site and can check on it soon.
Bex says:
That is awsome CT.
woodchuck07 says:
now if it just could be animated, like with the arm flexing or waving up and down. 'Ash we love you!@ First you are the 'model' for your local gym logo and now possibly a world wide website 'featured' shot in above dress!!... What greater honors could we bestow on you??
Bex says:
Oh what an Honour indeed
climbingtrash says:
I'll start working on an animation for ya WC...don't expect anything great though, I've only had a computer for just over a year. But I'll come up with something.

woodchuck07 says:
I'm mostly joking, but if you can, why not. It should look funny. (still waiting for Bash' to report in on this display, this tribute to her creative tie dye life.)
climbingwall says:
HOW IN HELL DID I MISS THIS!!! Man you guys on my buddy list have to clue me in to things like this when they happen. I just stumbled across it and almost peed myself,( I swear the wet spot on my trousers is just from tears of laughter.). WoodChuck, would you Marry Me???
Cheers!
climbingtrash says:
How's this WC?

woodchuck07 says:
my throbbing heart can't match that bicep pumping up. the 'thanks' even sounds sarcastic, sort of like the look 'Ash has on her face. Oh when she ever gets to this link and posts up, I can't imagine what she will think of us CT. I hope she laughs with us, as hard as we are. It does bring pee or tears each time I see it.
That dress is looking just spectacular I say. Just Maaahvalous.!
CW, notice I'm not even responding...
climbingwall says:
Heartbreaker:-(
Cheers!
gonzobeer says:
I don't think Charity would appreciate that CW.
Licentia Haud Vestigium
climbingwall says:
Guys, Badash has her own tag at the bottom of the page! Now we know we are conversing with a higher talent. Cheers to you BA!
Cheers!
Human Crashpad says:
How did I miss this?!? CT you are the man. 'Ash'll love it.
Bex says:
I notice the BADASH tag a while ago.
woodchuck07 says:
what tag? what page? what did I miss today?
climbingtrash says:
Scroll down WC. On the right side of the Pics is a list under Tags. Badash is after Access Fund.

woodchuck07 says:
oh that' tag. I always forget to move across the screen to the right side.
Bex says:
Myabe someday there will be avWoodchuck07 tag.
woodchuck07 says:
that would be a scary day.
Bex says:
Yes yes it would.
badash says:
OH MY GOSH I LOVE YOU GUYS! this is so funny! oh man.......
badash says:
p.s. spudz has his own tag too - AND its bigger, meaning more stuff is in it. You guys can make your own tags - when you post a picture or something, put your username as a tag! its that easy!!!!!
Spudz says:
badash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you ruined every thing
edit and delete it fast so the new comers wont have any ideas
Bex says:
Really that's cool.
woodchuck07 says:
I don't need a tag.....but there IS a yourclimbing 'tag still on the wedding dress.
BASH!!! so glad you finally got hooked up to the photos and saw what we did for you.! The dress, the awful photos of myself in it, then the 'ash' headed version and finally the animated bicep 'Ashley version. We've been having so much fun all in your tie dyed honor! Hope you liked the effort.
Bex says:
I love the pix of you in the dress. They're not aweful I like them tey're art especially the one's in th seductive posses. Ya it's official I'm on F'd up kid.
gonzobeer says:
You look alittle too comfy in that dress woody.
Licentia Haud Vestigium
woodchuck07 says:
seductive? Now I'm worried. If I put it on a third time and post photos again, then yes GB I agree I'm getting too comfy in it. Broke a strap anyway, so it's gotta get seamstress repairs before it sees any more 'action'.
Hmmm, maybe the next paint job will be in all desert camo colors. For the boys in Iraq, you know.
Bex says:
The blue wig pose On Blue mat
woodchuck07 says:
One thing is for sure, as they ask if anyone has met their online buddies for climbs or social call: I'm sure that 'Ash's parents are making sure I never show up at their door, local gym or cliff.,,not after the dress incident.
Bex says:
Probably Not.
gonzobeer says:
I think there are laws against that.
Licentia Haud Vestigium
Bex says:
Ya I think so too. :)
badash says:
my dad has a username on this site... he never uses it though. But he DOES look at what i post... he laughed at the picture - he thinks its funnny. and sorry spudz, i guess i was too slow to delete it - i might as well leave it...
Bex says:
Ash you're gonna make him cry.
Spudz says:
waaaaaaaaaaaaa~!!!!1!
climbingwall says:
Can someone throw him across their shoulder and burp him?
Cheers!
woodchuck07 says:
CW, that was funny. Burp the little tyke, I like that.
As for our girl Ash, I'm pleased to hear that everyone at home gets a laugh out of our fun, and impressed that they check out your posts. You're a quality kind of kid it sounds, besides a good climber. That's nice to hear these days.
( have you trained dad how to belay you yet on the tough routes??)
A big 'hello' to all the 'Ash' family from Woodchuck07.
Bex says:
You realize her parents more than likely think we're insane.
woodchuck07 says:
your probably right. it might have them suspect this sport will lead their daughter into a life of craziness and impaired mental condition. in otherwords, the truth is out.
Bex says:
We are crazy.
badash says:
i know this is a late reply, but dont worry about it --- first off, my dad never gets on the internet anymore. Secondly, my whole family is totally disfunctional. We are a little insane ourselves. So i wouldnt worry about it, haha.
beckyeb9 says:
ha ha that is too funny!!
woodchuck07 says:
what family Isn't somewhat dysfunctional. Especially if even one member is a climber, and a climber of the quality as 'ash means a whole lotta' dysfunction to go around, eh?
Bex says:
Hey the word fun is is disfunctional.
woodchuck07 says:
'is is' disfunctional?? yeah, we sure is..
badash says:
true. for sure.
Bex says:
shush. is in. is what I meant. Yes I have developed a stutter.
woodchuck07 says:
stutter fingers..
Spudz says:
My family is not dysfunctional.
Human Crashpad says:
Mine is, structurally and mentally. All of 'em. It's like a breath of fresh air.
badash says:
Mmmmmmmm yes, i agree, crash. Picture this: Mom is violently washing dishes because she is stressed about all her schoolwork. Dad is making animal noises and singing random songs (while making up his own words...) Did i mention he is only wearing a speedo? And that he has a big belly? OH yeah, and that he walks around doing the "butt kick?" And you can see my brother doing weird dance moves too, that i cant even explain. I am the one that is hardly ever home, but if i am, im on the computer or doing pull ups in my room. Thats just one example of how my family is disfunctional.
Spudz says:
haha thats funny b'ash
woodchuck07 says:
sounds serious 'ash. do we need to have an 'intervention' for you? Should we send in a rescue climbers team to take you out of there, really soon? It can be done; there are 'black ops' groups among our members, I'm sure. Ask Gonzo...
gonzobeer says:
........I'm down for a night raid. Wouldn't be the first time :) My buddy's still mad at me for that......
Licentia Haud Vestigium
woodchuck07 says:
OK GB. In our best camo' clothes, recon at said coordinates about 2AM. Sync up your watches now.. we strike in the mist of early dawn. Oh, and since it's 'ash we're grabbing, our vehicle must be a paisley flower-power 1970's VW microbus. They're just not too fast on the getaway.
Bex says:
I used to have a 68 but not paisly jus VW Green. Okay it wasn't mine but I had ready access to it.
woodchuck07 says:
Oh that lovely limey kind of green was it? Fabulous. I also forgot to note above that for this 'ash capture being planned, well since it's in Tennessee I'll bring along that tie dye dress cuz age 15 is plenty old enough for marriage down there. Just in case.
Bex says:
Yeah I can probably get the van, it would involve me visiting my ex fiance. But he will more than likely load it to nme. Big question would be could it make it. I know my truck will but not so hippie like.
woodchuck07 says:
yeah, in order to do 'ash justice, it should be a hippie vehicle we use for the abduction,I mean rescue. Maybe GB has what we need, or CW. Room for the evacuee, a highly trained team of 4, and a few cold cases of beer, beef jerky and Oreo cookies.
Bex says:
Sounds good.
climbingwall says:
I have a '76 jeep, so we could do it "Hayduke" stlye. Let's see how many know what I mean. Betcha' WC knows Who/What I'm talkin' about.
Cheers!
woodchuck07 says:
I'm a 'monkeywrencher' from waaay back. Still got my 'Hayduke Lives' red and black patch on a pair of old dyed Chouinard pants from 70's. An open jeep it is, perfect for our rescue attempt. Ash, are you with us yet on this one? You brought it up.
Speaking of: Those disturbing images of the 'speedo' suit running around the house.
Gotta ask here about swimwear. What and why did you end up in what ever you wear? Was it your locale, your upbringing? I mean the city/suburban kids of the 70's etc. probably were in nice clean pools, swim lessons etc. so therefore the 'speedo was the norm for them. But today I think only the Phelps and Thorpe Olympians wear such. Poor inner city kids = cut offs or a baggy pair of NBA shorts in a half closed pool broken into after dark. The ole'swimmin'hole in the backwoods was either nekked' or in Amish black bib overalls. The beach and surf set from So.Cal, well they own the rights to awesome board shorts which seem to have caught on everywhere, .....,,,except in Nashville it sounds.
Bex says:
OMG I haven't Heard anyone refer to Hayduke in ages.
woodchuck07 says:
I've got a great '86' Monkeywrench' calendar with artwork by famous cartoonist that I forget the name of. Classic scenes of bulldozers going over cliffs, etc.
Bex says:
I know what scene your talkig about can't remember the title.
woodchuck07 says:
Yeah, the calendar borrows scenes from the story and the artist puts them to life. Quotes from the book make up the rest of it. He did a great job of making Abzug' look like a stumpy and ugly unshaven woodswoman.
Bex says:
Cool. I read the book as an assignmnet in College (a Environmental English Class). I
woodchuck07 says:
Yeah I read most of Abbey stuff right after college when I was out in the S.West deserts viewing the areas he was so upset about.
Bex says:
That's cool.
gonzobeer says:
BTW Woody, that would be rendevous at Alpha point at 0200. I don't need a vehicle to get there ( Ranger Machismo) but you guys pile in whatever you need. We'll start recon at 0430 and rendevous back at 1300. Hit Mcdonalds on the way, you'll need the extra carbs if I'm leading this one.
